Do you ever wanted to create a file in which you can enter notes. Or a log file which appends data with timestamp. Or you are working as an executive who receives lots of calls everyday and you are noting down those call details in a notepad. Just think about a file in which you enter your notes and time automatically filled? And for this you don't need any additional application. Follow these steps
1, open notepad.exe
2, type .LOG in the first line
3, save this file as normal
From next time onwards when you open this file you will get a timestamp entry automatically.
If you append this file from any program you will get a timestamped log file....
Eg:
C:\> ver >> mylog.txt
